Master Fard Muhammad prays

As salaam alaikum,

That is an interesting question. Minister Farrakhan did say that Master Fard Muhammad prays. One thing you will have to understand is that Minister Farrakhan was prepared and conditioned by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. What he teaches is directly from the Christ, by whom he was taught. The Minister has access to not only books from the Christ, but decades of personal experience, copious notes from countless meetings, other believers who've shared that path, letters from the Christ, and much more. If he said it, you can count on it being true. Yes, Master Fard Muhammad absolutely prays.

Understanding Master Fard Muhammad is not as difficult as some people make it out to be. One of the greatest impediments to understanding Him is our preconceived notion of who and what God is. Most people are almost completely wrong in their beliefs about God, as evidenced by the condition of the world and people's lives.

That Master Fard Muhammad prays is not spelled out the way I think you are looking for. The short answer to your question is: look on the back page of the Final Call Newspaper, in point number 12 of What the Muslims Believe, it says, in writing:

"WE BELIEVE that Allah (God) appeared in the Person of Master W. Fard Muhammad, July, 1930; the long-awaited "Messiah" of the Christians and the "Mahdi" of the Muslims. We believe further and lastly that Allah is God and besides HIM there is no god and He will bring about a universal government of peace wherein we all can live in peace together."

The Hadith says of the Messiah, Volume 7, Book 72, Number 789:

Narrated Abdullah bin Umar: Allah's Apostle said, "Today I saw myself in a dream near the Ka'ba. I saw a whitish brown man, the handsomest of all brown men you might ever see. He had the most beautiful Limma (hair hanging down to the earlobes) you might ever see. He had combed it and it was dripping water; and he was performing the Tawaf around the Kaba leaning on two men or on the shoulders of two men. l asked, "Who is this?" It was said. "Messiah, the son of Mary." Suddenly I saw a curly-haired man, blind in the right eye which looked like a protruding out grape. I asked, "Who is this?" It was said, "He is Masiah Ad-Dajjal."

Here in this hadith, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) tells us that the Messiah prays. There are two rak'ahs (sections of the Muslim prayer service) that conclude the tawaf ritual. Of course the Honorable Elijah Muhammad knew this and so does Minister Farrakhan; so do all of us who study.

Of the Mahdi, it is said that He will lead a prayer service where The Christ will be praying behind him. Prophet Muhammad said:

Jesus (peace be upon him) will come and will perform the obligatory prayers behind the Mahdi and follow him.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad explains what we believe about Allah, that He appeared in the person of Master Fard Muhammad. He, Master Fard Muhammad, is the Mahdi, our Divine Guide in whom is present all the power and authority of Allah. And he prays.

Lastly, I'll point out to you in the Holy Qur'an, sura 36 verses 22 - 24:

22. And what reason have I that I should not serve Him Who created me and to Whom you will be brought back. 23. Shall I take besides Him gods whose intercession, if the Beneficent should desire to afflict me with harm, will avail me naught, nor can they deliver me? 24. Then I shall surely be in clear error.

Master Fard Muhammad was born February 26, 1877 in the Holy City of Mecca. He's obviously not the Originator of the Heavens and the Earth, and is therefore one who was created by the Almighty. But He was called into existence to perfect the Will and Work of the Originator, Himself being Supreme in Knowledge, Wisdom, and Power. We've never said that He was the Originator. Yet still, today, He, Master Fard Muhammad, is the Supreme of Beings. We have a picture of Him reading the Holy Qur'an, which is, in itself, a form of prayer. I would encourage you to study more about the Mahdi and the Messiah, and anything you can find about the Christ. You'll be better able to recognize them when you realize that they've appeared among us in the person of Master Fard Muhammad (Mahdi) and the Honorable Elijah Muhammad (Christ). I hope this little article helps you understand better and clears any confusion you may have. Trust Minister Farrakhan, he will not lie to you, he is a rightly guided teacher for us from Allah.

Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of Men, the King of Men, the God of Men from the evil of the whisperings of the slinking devil who whispers into the hearts of Men through the jinn and the men.
